As a product designer, my goal is to enhance user experiences, especially when it comes to complex tools like AI. A common challenge is that, while AI offers an array of powerful capabilities, many users remain unaware of what is available to them. This is where nudges come in. Nudges are subtle prompts that encourage users to explore new or lesser-known features. By gradually revealing options through progressive disclosure, users can tap into the full potential of AI without feeling overwhelmed. For example, nudges might guide users towards tools they’ve previously overlooked or serve as helpful reminders for key tasks, improving their overall experience. Nudges aren’t just educational; they empower users to get more out of their interactions with AI. By introducing features as users grow more comfortable, we create a smooth, organic learning journey.

These examples demonstrate how nudges can enrich the user experience by gradually unlocking AI-powered features, making platforms more intuitive and engaging.
